The Mathematics Department of Women University Swabi is one of the first few departments of the university. The department was established in 2015. It consists of highly qualified faculty members. The department has played a leading role in establishing traditions in mathematical research in Pakistan. Moreover the department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers, in order to make them lifelong learners and to grow in their chosen profession.

The Mission of the Mathematics department is to provide an environment where students can learn and become competent users of mathematics and mathematical application. The Mathematics Department has also played a critical role in teaching mathematics. To be more specific, the department has played a leading role in human resource development in Mathematics in the country.
