The Department of Chemistry at Women University Swabi was established in December 2013 and offers BS, MSc, and MPhil programs to meet national and international academic and industrial demands. The Department provides high-quality education across four major sub-disciplines — Inorganic, Organic, Physical, and Biochemistry. It also promotes research in Materials Science, Environmental Chemistry, Renewable Energy, Water Treatment, and Computational Chemistry. With well-equipped laboratories featuring instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, Atomic Absorption, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, the Department ensures that students gain practical research skills essential for scientific and professional excellence.
