Central Library

Introduction

The Central Library of Women University Swabi was established in June 2014 at the Main Campus. Initially, the library began with a modest collection of books covering nine departments—Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Islamic Studies, Psychology, Political Science, Urdu, and Zoology. Over the years, new books and updated editions have been regularly procured for all academic disciplines. As a result, the library now holds an extensive and up-to-date collection of books and journals across a wide range of subjects.
The Central Library now operates through three branches: the Main Campus Library, the Gulo Dehri Campus Library, and the Law Library. Each branch is well-equipped with adequate bookshelves, seating arrangements, and study spaces. Both students and faculty members visit the libraries regularly for reading and borrowing resources.
