Introduction:
The department of Zoology was established in 2013 and holds a pivotal position in the Faculty of Sciences at the university. The Department right from its inception has been imparting knowledge in various Zoology disciplines viz. Animal Diversity, Fisheries, Evolution, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Ecology, Animal Physiology, Animal Behavior, Developmental Biology, Biostatistics, Wildlife Management, Conservation Biology, Entomology, Parasitology and Endocrinology etc. The Department of Zoology provides a vibrant and supportive environment for the female students of the country. The department offers BS (4-Years) and M.Phil (2- Years) programs. Currently, about 250 students are enrolled in the department in BS Program.
