Introduction

The Department of Zoology at Women University Swabi is dedicated to the study of animal biology, biodiversity, physiology, genetics, and ecology. Since its establishment, the department has aimed to provide high-quality education and research opportunities to female students, empowering them to contribute to scientific advancement and environmental sustainability. The department fosters critical thinking, scientific skills, and innovation, preparing graduates for careers in academia, research, healthcare, and environmental management.

The field of Zoology offers a wide range of career opportunities for graduates. A zoology graduate can work as wildlife manager, ecologist, fisheries manager, zookeeper, environmental consultant, laboratory manager, forensic scientist, researcher, educationalist, museum curator, microbiologist, behavioral ecologist, marine biologist, ranger, biotechnologist and many more.
